Highway Halt

Bus stops along India's highways have evolved from basic shaded structures to multifunctional hubs, serving as vital landmarks in the country's public transport network. This project embraced a holistic approach, integrating socio-cultural and infrastructural contexts to create spaces that offer respite and services while fostering community connections and storytelling

North Braddock Calling

North Braddock, shaped by industrial dominance and environmental injustices, remains resilient despite disinvestment and stigma. The General Sisters, a community grocery and exhibit space, embodies this spirit, turning a torn roof into a hub for creativity and connection.

The Next25

Augustus F. Hawkins Nature Park, once an industrial brownfield, is now a symbol of community-driven restoration and resilience. Through “The Next25,” we reimagined its future with a focus on inclusivity, connectivity, and ecological stewardship, reinforcing its role as a shared space for education, well-being, and community.

Holding Space

This thesis challenges the stigma of vacancy in North Lawndale, emphasizing the community's resilience and care for its environment. By exploring the link between vacant spaces and flooding, it envisions commoning practices as a way to nurture these spaces into ecological and social assets, drawing lessons from R-Urban and the Sweet Water Foundation.

Reclaiming 65

This projecct studies the impact of destructive infrastructure. Situated in Manchester, Pittsburgh, it deals with the realities of the NH 65 cutting between communities and causing harmful erasure

Undergraduate thesis that tries to identify lost lakes of Chennai and their consequent flooding impact. The project explores the site around the famous Valluvar Kottam through different typologies and ecological conditions

Batty Habits & Habitats

An experimental project that delves into understanding the habitats of the bat species especially around bridges. Studied as a spectrum through the seasons, it proposes an observatory suitable for human and non-human species interaction.
